Kids’ Night Out

Kids’ Night Out (a.k.a. Parents Night Out) is an opportunity for the students to get together on a less formal basis, learn some Tang Soo Do, practice a few drills, have fun with Karate themed games and other entertainment. Each event has a different theme and includes Pizza and their favorite soft drinks. The party starts at 6:00 PM and Students will need to be picked up at 9:00 PM, to avoid a late pick up fee, which is $5.00 after the first ten minutes and $1.00 per minute thereafter.

Advanced registration required.

Breaking Seminars are a great way for students to practice the specific breaks for their belt level as well as get the opportunity to learn how to set up and hold for breaks. These are generally scheduled about 4 weeks before the promotional tests and success during the seminar counts toward the test.

Students are also allowed to learn and practice specialty breaks. Mostly techniques involving the hands or other materials such as bricks, stones, dowels, bats and concrete.

Advanced registration is required using the sign-up sheet.

Nerf Wars is a great Saturday activity. Students bring their favorite Nerf Gun and participate in a variety of drills and activities that test their skills in team and individual activities.

Leadership Lunch is an opportunity to sit down with Mr. Bill and discuss the variety of topics that revolve what it means to be a leader on the mat. The sessions are built around training students how to become successful Group Leaders, Class Mentors, Class Assistants, Junior Instructors, Assistant Instructors and Instructors. These lunches are for senior belts only and are by invitation only.
